Ability Advocacy is a podcast that sees our host Camilla interviewing experts, advocates on and individuals with physical/intellectual disabilities. Camilla is a high school English & Drama teacher, currently working with the School of Special Educational Needs and Disability/Sensory creating educational films to support teachers in teaching students with special needs. The show is also produced and edited by fellow colleague Jake De Agrela.
Ability Advocacy launched with its first episode, interviewing the aforementioned editor Jake regarding his journey with Autism Spectrum Disorder, on the 1st of May, 2020. Episode 2 was released later that month that sees Matthew Cameron discuss his journey with Usher’s Syndrome. Future episodes are planned to release soon. The show is recorded and fully produced in Western Australia.
